ACH Universal Advanced Edition can help you quickly and easily prepare Tax Payments (TXP) and Child Support payments (CS).
ACH Universal Advanced Edition has a built-in Wizard to enable you to quickly and easily create TXP transactions. You can create transactions one at a time from our profile interface or import transactions using an Excel or csv file.
Transactions can be used to pay Federal, State or local income taxes, employment taxes/withholdings or any type of local taxes, such as excise, liquor, real estate, sales/use taxes, etc...
To see how easy it is to create a TXP transaction from an Excel file, from within the Sample account in ACH Universal Advanced Edition - click on the Samples tab > TXP-Tax Payments to watch the wizard in action.
A sample file may look like:
The IRS TXP Addenda Record Format below is supported, as are other state and local formats.
Note: Sample formats are included and you can copy/use them for your formats.
There are two parts to preparing an ACH Tax Payment (TXP):
1. The actual payment - easy (the '6' record)
2. The remittance information (the '7' record - also called the addenda record or TXP record).
This is why you're probably reading this.
ACH Universal creates both the payment ('6') and addenda ('7') records.
The addenda record can be in TXP10 or any other format, including:
TXP*651122334*94105*120901*1*300000*2*104400*3*430000*3435\ (941 Federal Payroll)
TXP*651122334*0108M*120901*1*T*23900******YOURCO*120901*3435\ (State Excise Tax)
