ACH Universal is available in the following platforms (versions)
Our desktop products are cost-effective and easy to install. They are installed using a simple InstallShield setup file (approximately 80 MB in size).
The database is file-based and can be easily copied using Windows/File Explorer and backed up with our built-in utilities.
No IT involvement is needed other than local permissions to install software.
Includes three workstation licenses to allow for simultaneous independent use, as well as backup and disaster recovery.
The Desktop platform is designed for a single-user with the database located on the local computer. Need multiple users? Consider SQL Express or SQL Server.
Need multi-user capability, but don't have SQL Server?
Our Workgroup platform includes the SQL Express database engine at no additional charge.
SQL Express offers many of same advantages of SQL Server, and the database files can be backed up using Treasury Software utilities or your in-house utilities.
Typically, no IT involvement is needed other than local permissions to install software.
Remote Desktop Services and Citrix ready
The SQL Express platform is designed for up to 5 users in a true multi-user environment, with the database centrally located on the host computer
SQL Server, the Gold Standard - provides the strongest security and greatest scalability.
Meets all known industry, banking and governmental security requirements.
Apply corporate security policies by granting and restricting access to accounts through the use of familiar tools, such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Utilize either Windows Integrated Security, administered by your Microsoft Active Directory or by direct SQL Server level security.
IT - Use your existing SQL Server for ACH Universal's databases, as it does not require a separate SQL Server. IT required to provide SQL access. Workstations easily installed using InstallShield setup files.
We take pride in our design - Treasury Software products do not install software of any kind, such as dll's, ocx's, executables - on the SQL Server. Our scripts only create databases and related objects, such as tables, roles and stored procedures.
Remote Desktop Services and Citrix ready
Remote Desktop capability is included in our Enterprise (SQL Server) edition.
By default (without this feature), ACH Universal can only be used on any given computer by a single-user. While you can of course have multiple users accessing a SQL database simultaneously - each user must have their own computer.
Now, with the introduction of our Remote Desktop Services feature, you can configure ACH Universal to enable concurrent use of the software by multiple users - on the same computer.
Notes:
--Existing infrastructure, such as Citrix or other remote software - is required and not included
--Tip: You do not need to enable this feature if only one user will be performing a simple remote desktop to their own computer. Simple remote control software such as Go To My PC, Log Me In and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services - can be used on a single machine without this feature.
Want to migrate from our Desktop platform to either SQL Express or SQL Server?
Not a problem with our Upsize Wizard.
All of your settings and data (if you choose) can be moved from the desktop database to the SQL database.
